Academic Background

Bachelor degree in Mathematics from CSULB. Played Badminton on the Golden West College Badminton team. Worked in aerospace on the Space Shuttle program in the early days.

Family

My husband, Rick, and I are about to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We have a son, Daniel, who is currently in a rock band touring the country trying to "make it big". Our daughter, Janay, who graduated from APU with a degree in Spanish, has been living in Mexico for over a year. She is moving mountains in Monterrey. Our youngest, Michael Jordan, is a student at CSULB working on his Kinesiology degree.

Why did you become a teacher?

I really enjoy kids! This is such an exciting time of life when students are developing into responsible people, and making many life choices.

Interests & Hobbies

I love to play and watch volleyball! Played some beach volleyball over the summer...what hard work. I enjoy my church, gardening, travelling, reading, walking at the beach, and of course math!
