Academic Background

I have a Bachelor degree in Liberal Arts with concentration in Education from Concordia University. I earned a Teaching Credential to teach Foreign Languages from Cal State University of Long Beach. In addition, I have an elementary teacher credential from Argentina.

Family

I have five lovely daughters: Ilana, Micaela, Morena, Brianne, and Ana Belén. At this moment I only have one cat, "Pouncer, the wonder cat".

Why did you become a teacher?

I knew that I was going to be a teacher ... since I was 8 or 9 years old. It is wonderful to help young people to became successful in life. I enjoy teaching!

Years teaching?

I tutored elementary and high school students for more than 5 years in Argentina and the United States. I also taught elementary school in Argentina for 11 years. And ... this is my fifth year teaching high school students in California.

Interests & Hobbies

My favorite hobby is to spend quality time with my daughters, family, and friends. Also, I like to read, listen to music, and I enjoy doing crafts. I love to travel and learn about different cultures. My passion is dancing, especially tango.

Most memorable moment

A memorable moment was to be standing by the stone house in which my grandmother was born, a hundred years ago, in Berrobi, Pais Vasco, Spain. I remember being at the top of the mountain, by my grandma's house, the day was sunny, everything was green, and the view was unbelievable.
